While CVT is normally thought to be slow, it is actually much quicker across the entire range. I have altis 1.6 2015. 5500 driven but still getting average of 9.8 km/l as on meter and i did full fuel tank technique and got 10.1. any one know the reason. Have changed mobil oil at 3000 km.

I have a 2011 Altis auto, done 69,000 kms and when I drive it gives 10-10.5 km/L in city, and when my brother drives it gives 8-8.5 km/L. I generally keep car in 2,000 rpm range and brother drives in 3,000 rpm range. On Khi-Isb trips it has consistently given 14km/L, but if I keep below 100km/h it gives 16km/L.
