have a Citroen C4, 1.4 Petrol, 2004. Car turns off while driving, then it does not start. Not even with push starting. Then after some random time (20 min to 1 hour) it starts again. The engine warning light is on, and the screen reads "Anti-pollution system faulty".

This is done by pushing or pulling taking care not to damage it. Replace the switch by pushing it into the hole and rotating clockwise 90 degrees. turn on ignition and check that the brake lights work, if not the switch plunger might not be set to the correct length. hopefully now you wont have the esp /abs warning.

If the beep and the appearance of SERVICE co-incide with using the control switches on the steering wheel, try cleaning the switch with a small squirt of switch cleaner, then rock the switches up and down for several seconds and
Location: Finland. Citroen C4 2012 1.6 e-hdi. Stop/Start deactivated. I have the following fault codes that came up after the alternator belt snapped; P1A9C Energy accumulator: state of health fault. P1AA2 Voltage retaining device: internal electronics fault. P0272 Correction of injector flow rate cylinder 4 :Injection time too long or too short.
grahamew2. I have just replaced the clutch on my C4 Grand Picasso 1.6 hdi. All went ok and is working fine but after restarting the engine i have ABS , ESP and handbrake faulty warning lights on the dash and. the handbrake will only work manually. I have checked and as far as I can see everything is reconnected.
